"Gearing up to teach the new 7th grade SEEd standards?  Well then, join us on Mar. 2nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU) for a special workshop titled "Mysteries At The Dinosaur Quarry: Analyzing Fossil Evidence To Construct Explanations."  Learn about one of Utah's most extensive fossil sites, and discover how this natural phenomenon provides the perfect setting for students to analyze data and construct explanations.  This workshop addresses Grade 7 Standard 7.5- "Changes in Species Overtime" in the new Utah SEEd Standards.  The workshop is completely FREE, and those that attend will receive 2 relicensure points, as well as lesson plan materials to take back to their classrooms.  If you're planning on attending, please register both here AND at the following link on NHMU's website:   https://nhmu.utah.edu/educators/workshops/mysteries-dinosaur-quarry-analyzing-fossil-evidence-construct-explanations .  This will help us get an accurate head count of who's attending.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Richard LeSueur, our Region II Representative, at rlesueur@utsta.org .   Hope to see you there!"
